TallCast is built so that your information never leaves your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.
To make an estimate, TallCast asks for sex, birth date, height, and optionally weight and the parents' heights. You can also log measurements over time and create profiles for family members.
Everything you enter is stored only on your device, in the app's local database. TallCast has no account, no sign-in, and no server. We do not receive, see, or store any of your data.
If you turn on the monthly reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. It is not sent from a server.
When you share a result card, the image is passed to the app you choose through the iOS share sheet. What happens after that is governed by that app's privacy policy. TallCast only saves an image to Photos if you choose Save Image.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase is active.
TallCast can be used by teens and by parents tracking their children. Users under 13 should use the app with a parent or guardian. Because no data leaves the device, we do not collect personal information from children.
Use Settings, Delete all data inside the app, or delete the app. Either removes everything TallCast stored.
TallCast provides an estimate based on public growth charts and family height. It is not medical advice. If you are concerned about growth, talk to a doctor.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
